David Adedeji Adeleke, better known as Davido, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer born in the United States. Davido was born in Atlanta, United States, and raised in Lagos. He made his musical debut as a member of the KB International music group.
His single "Dami Duro" in 2011 was well received across Nigeria. Along with his older brother Adewale Adeleke, Davido co-owns HKN Music (a label of Sina Rambo, B. Red and DeeKay), which he later left to start his own label DMW.
